Q: HOW TO GET RID OF AHPIDS AND WHITE-FLY?
FLY IN THE OINTMENT - Apply a STP/motor (or engine) enhancing additive to bright yellow cards, and suspend amongst strawberries/tomatoes and virginia creeper. This method, used in B.C. as traps for small damaging insects like aphids and white-fly, will substantially decrease pest damage but does not trap the larger 'good guy bugs'.

I have a small sunroom attached to my home. I have a problem with teeny tiny little white flying bugs that seem to live on the bottoms of the leaves and make the plants look sick. I would like to know what to do. I tried a spray that said it was for white flies, but I can't seem to get rid of them. Lately I have been getting rid of infected plants. But since I plan on starting tomato and flower seedlings in there, I am worried about infecting those plants.
Help, please.

Nancy - Yes, you must rid the plants of these very damaging pests. These are the dreaded white fly, that will quickly take residence on and in your tomatoes.
Most of the garden centres and greenhouses will be handling the newest pesticide on the market, and the best available. Doktor Doom is the answer, and more specifically the Doktor Doom with the red topped container. If you require more info about the product. D Doom in Edmonton 478 6646
