SOIL FLIES
Stan,Since I've repotted some plants, I now have flies slightly bigger than fruits flies. What can I spray the soil with without harming the plants?
Hope you can help.
Ted
Hi Ted: You have the used to be dreaded indoor pests.. the soil fly. These flies live on the organic matter in your soil, and do little damage to the plants, but cause great consternation with the plant care workers.
The best control you can use without damage to the plants is: Doktor Doom. This product is new on the market, and very available to the consumer in most of the garden stores.
All you do is spray the soil with the product. Doktor Doom Residual Spray is best this time of year, with little or no side affects.Keep in touch.
Good to hear from you.
