I have two rhubarb plants approximately 10-15 years old that we would like to split and transplant to another area. What would be the best way to do this without damaging the plants? Soil pH factor runs between 6.5 - 7 and is in full sun area. We have a choice of a high dry area or a lower damper area and would like to know which would be the best. Thank you Your rhubarb can be split as soon as the
ground thaws. You will have to dig deep, then split the heavy
root system with an axe. Transplant into the cool moist location,
with lots of sun. Keep in touch. |
