Poinsetta

Dear Stan;

My 6 yr old poinsetta is developing brown spots on some leaves. They then turn yellowish and drop off. Plant was cut down mid Feb. and is now in a large (abt 12") black pot. Was doing great up till abt 2-3 wks ago the problem started. I fertilized twice or so since cutting down. Plant is inside house only.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you kindly,

Carol

Carol - Poinsettias are shrubs in their natural habitat, which is south California and Mexico. Continue growing your plant outdoors in sheltered conditions, but available to at least 6 or 8 hours of sun. Dont forget to water and fertilize. Bring the plant indoors by September 25th to begin the 12 hours of equal light and darkness.
