Hi Stan;
You mentioned on your show today different crops that benefit
from high light and low light conditions after germination. Unfortunately
I wasn't able to write them down.
Would you have time to repeat them on your next show? It would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Kathy - The importance of light to a seed
that initiates and speeds germination, is as important to the
seedling[s] as it is to the duration of growth.
In other words, if seeds require light to germinate, they also
require full spectrum light for fruition.
The variety of seeds that require germination light, is far more
than those seeds that require darkened conditions.
Borage, Calendula, Bachelors Button, Coriander, Delphinium, Sweet
Pea, Myosotis including the Pansy, Nemesia, Poppy, Phlox, Schizanthus.
Also, for most of the perennials, you can treat them as 'dark'
germinaters.
Hope this helps.
N.B this info should be included on the seed pac, if not, go
to the next rack.
