CALA LILIES

Hi Stan,

I grew Cala Lilies this year and I would like to know how to save them for next year. I have let them harden off and die off this fall, and have removed them from the outside. How do I store them and for how long.

Thanks
Chester

Chester - Callas are easy to keep - into slightly moist peat moss with the remaining leaves left on the root system until they become dry and brittle.

They require above freezing temps, and with a low light source.

The new growth will start to show by mid Feb, to mid March, and then can be potted into appropriate pots for spring bedding.

Let me know how you make out.
