ANIMALS IN THE GARDEN
or
IT'S MY GARDEN...AND I WANT IT BACK!
Stan, we have a garden in which human predominance is not present
on a daily basis, where the white tail deer continue to chomp
on the beet leaves on a consistent basis. We have tried suggestions
such as, erecting red coverall fixtures with plastic bag on arm,
and placing human cut hair in pouch within their path to garden,
without any success.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Joe
Joe. We have much the same problem, but instead of deer we have
very friendly and curious coyotes during the day and badgers
during the long nights, but have found that a radio playing 24
hours a day deters the culinary vegetarians. They seem to dislike
country and western, but sit in
neat rows to listen to the classics.
Hope this is helpful.
